Part Time Business Development Manager / Sales Manager (South) (Birmingham, London, Norfolk, Southampton, Cornwall, Bristol)

A leading award winning independent group are looking to recruit a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Senior Sales Executive to strengthen there already successful team. This is a senior position within the business and is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated candidate to thrive with a growing company.

Initially covering the whole of the South of the country from Birmingham to Cornwall, west to east. (Birmingham, London, Norfolk, Southampton, Cornwall, Bristol)

You will be responsible for providing the company with a dedicated focus on researching and winning new business opportunities, in all relevant market sectors. Close and effective communication with Commercial Director, National Account Manager and Marketing Manager is essential to drive the brand and ensure that priority is given to the correct sales channels, focusing on range, service level & new business development. Your main focus of accounts will be larger Garden Centre Groups, Wholesalers and Independents with multiple outlets

As Business Development Manager / Sales Manager you will be responsible for lead generation and making the initial contact with new clients and also driving sales through merchandising visits to existing customers both in the channels above and also in the DIY sectors.

This is an opportunity for a great communicator, persuasive negotiator and naturally dynamic sales person / Business Developer.

Principal Accountabilities ? Business Development Manager / Sales Manager:

?To manage and develop the new customer relationships, understand their business needs & align them with my clients to ensure long term business success

?To research potential new markets/ countries where my client?s products may be profitable & provide detailed commercial backup

?To ensure any new customers improve stock holding & cash flow

?To provide, maintain and communicate an up to date target customer list.

?To improve our relationship with our more ?distant? customer base through personal visits and direct selling.

You will need to be able to travel to the Head Office once a fortnight which is based in Wrexham ? Also covering (Birmingham, London, Norfolk, Southampton, Cornwall, Bristol)
